I. Control system
1. DC power supply
Parameters: 50-300V adjustable, ripple factor <5% (silicon rectifier/thyristor technology).
Mode: constant voltage/constant current switching to meet the coating requirements of different workpieces.
2. Automatic monitoring
Sensor: real-time monitoring of conductivity (tank liquid <1000μS/cm, anode liquid needs to be diluted regularly).
PLC integration: linkage adjustment of temperature, flow, and voltage parameters.
II. Technical features
Efficient coverage: electric field drives coating deposition, complex workpiece cavity coverage >95%.
Low pollution: ultrafiltration system recovery rate >90%, VOC emissions reduced by 80%.
Intelligent maintenance: automatically trigger backwashing program to extend the life of membrane components.
III. Maintenance points
1. Anode liquid management: regular detection of conductivity (<1000μS/cm), check the integrity of the diaphragm when turbid. 2. Circulation system maintenance: Clean the filter bag monthly to prevent blockage and flow rate drop.
3. Tank liquid parameter monitoring: Test pH value (5.8-6.5) and Fe²⁺ concentration (<20ppm) weekly.
I. Structural composition
1. Main tank
Function: The core area of electrophoretic coating, used to hold electrophoretic liquid and complete the electro-deposition process.
Material: PP/PVC or epoxy fiberglass lined anti-corrosion tank (large tank uses steel plate + anti-corrosion lining).
Design features: The shape is rectangular or boat-shaped, and the bottom adopts parabolic/arc surface transition to reduce the dead corner of precipitation.
The volume is designed according to the workpiece size and production requirements, generally 10-50m³.
2. Overflow tank
Function: Control the liquid level height of the main tank, recover overflow paint and discharge surface foam.
Structure: Conical bottom design, connected to the main tank through a circulation pipe to prevent precipitation accumulation.
3. Auxiliary tank (spare tank)
Purpose: Temporary storage of tank liquid, used for main tank maintenance, cleaning or emergency drainage.
II. Core components
1. Electrode device
Anode system: Titanium metal electrode covered with semi-permeable membrane (such as canvas material), allowing H⁺ to pass but blocking resin particles.
Anode liquid circulates independently, and the conductivity is regularly tested and pure water is added for dilution.
Cathode arrangement: The workpiece is connected to the DC power supply as the cathode, and the inter-electrode spacing is adjusted according to the uniformity of the electric field.
2. Circulation filtration system
Circulation pump: Flow rate 6-8 times/hour to ensure uniform composition and temperature of the tank liquid.
Filter device: Coarse filter (50μm filter bag) intercepts foreign matter;
Precision filter (metal mesh/fiber cylinder) removes dust particles.
3. Temperature control unit
Heat exchanger: Plate or tube heat exchanger, maintaining the tank liquid temperature at 20-30℃ (±1℃).
Temperature control medium: Cold water (7-10℃) is used for cooling, and warm water (40-45℃) is used for heating. 4. Ultrafiltration system (UF system)
Function: Recover floating paint, control impurity ion concentration, and provide cleaning liquid (UF liquid conductivity <50μS/cm).
Components: Rolled/tubular ultrafiltration membrane (pore size 0.001-0.1μm), backwash pump and circulation pipeline.
III. Other auxiliary components
Power supply system: DC rectifier (50-300V adjustable), supporting constant voltage/constant current mode switching.
Conveying device: Suspension chain or conveyor belt, used for moving workpieces in continuous production lines.
Ventilation device: Exhaust gases (such as O₂) generated by electrolysis to avoid oxidation of the tank liquid.
